Lordmancer II is the first MMO game to introduce its own cryptocurrency token called LordCoin (LC). Here we’ll explain everything you need to know about LordCoin (LC).
What Are LCs Used For?
LCs are used to buy and sell game content. LCs will be freely traceable on cryptocurrency exchanges where they can be bought and sold. Once purchased they can be bought back into the game environment.
Are There Commissions On Transactions?
Every LC transaction will be charged a 20% commission. 10% of this fee will be used to support the platform such as the cost of servers and providing customer support for players. The other 10% of the tokens will be burned. This is to decrease the supply of tokens over the life of the game.
Where Can Players Buy LCs?
There will be three different ways that players can buy LCs.
#1 Lordmancer II Website
Players can purchase LCs directly on the Lordmancer website. When buying LCs on the Lordmancer website the LCs will be deposited directly into the players game account. The disadvantage of buying on the Lordmancer website is the LCs will be priced 50% higher compared to cryptocurrency exchanges. This will to compensate for conversion fees from fiat currency to cryptocurrency and then buying LCs on a crypto currency exchange.
#2 Cryptocurrency Exchange
LCs will be listed on cryptocurrency exchanges. This will enables players to buy and sell LCs directly from other players. LCs bought on an exchange can then be moved into a game account.
#3 In-app purchase
Lordmancer will also be issuing another currency called Crystals. These crystals can be purchased using Google Play or App Store in-app purchase. Crystals can then be by used to pay for LCs. The purchase price of LCs with Crystals will be 4x higher than the price on cryptocurrency exchanges.
Will All The Tokens Be Burned?
Because 10% of LCs are burned during transactions eventually all of the tokens will be burned. This was designed on purpose in order to create deflation and lead to a growth in LCs price.
Once all of the tokens are burned a new token will be introduced. 20 million of this new token will be issued and it will be listed on cryptocurrency exchanges.
LC holders will receive for free as many of their new tokens as was their amount of the unburned amount of the original tokens. When the new token is introduced the old token will be delisted from exchanges.
How Will LCs Be Distributed?
LCs are being distributed in an token sale. A maximum of 15 million LCs will be offered during this token sale. The main token sale is set to begin on the November 7th 2017.
